Common Questions

How much space do I need for a court?

The price depends on size, materials, and customization, but we work within your budget. We offer various turn-key and custom options to give you the best court possible at a price that makes sense for you. Contact us for a personalized quote!

Yes. Build My Courts regularly works with local permitting offices and HOA boards to help streamline the approval process. Our team can assist with site plans, documentation, and design submissions, making it easier for homeowners and HOA managers to move forward confidently while ensuring local requirements are properly addressed.

We understand that you don’t want weeks of disruption. Our standard court installations take about 5 weeks total. With 30-40 days of the time being the concrete curing. We work as fast and efficiently as possible to minimize disruption and get you playing on your new court as fast as possible!

Yes. We evaluate your existing slab for cracks, drainage issues, and surface condition. Any cracks get repaired and filled before we apply our acrylic sport surfacing system. Then we stripe full NBA-spec basketball lines — 3-point arc, free throw, key, center circle, and half-court.

Yes. We assist with permit coordination on all commercial and HOA projects. For residential courts, we’ll advise you on what’s needed based on your city and HOA requirements.

A residential half court runs $20,000–$40,000 for concrete base, acrylic surface, and striping. Full courts run higher depending on size and add-ons. Multi-sport configurations that add pickleball or tennis lines are a cost-efficient way to get more use out of the same footprint.

A regulation half court is 42×50 ft. Smaller recreational half courts can be built at 30×30 ft or custom dimensions to fit your space. Full courts require roughly 50×84 ft minimum. We confirm what fits and what the tradeoffs are on the site visit.

Yes — basketball courts are one of the most flexible bases for multi-sport use. Pickleball, tennis, and futsal lines are all commonly added to the same slab. Line colors are coordinated so each sport stays visually distinct during play.
